At UPL, we had the pleasure of working on a beautiful property in Omaha, NE. Our designer worked with the original homeowner over 20 years ago to design their initial landscape, which included a fountain and landscape bed in the front circle driveway, a dolphin fountain and pathway, a pool, a pergola, a tennis court, and general landscaping around the property. However, once new owners moved in, they continued to work with our designer to redo their property to match their vision. This project included a complete renovation of their property to install new landscaping, a paver patio, a seating wall, a water feature, and much more!
We designed the initial landscape for this property over 20 years ago.

Over 20 years ago, our designer worked closely with the original homeowners to create an exceptional outdoor space that exceeded their expectations. We started by designing the entire landscape from scratch, which included adding a stunning fountain and landscape bed in the front circle driveway, a charming dolphin fountain and pathway, a luxurious pool, a captivating pergola, a spacious tennis court, and other general landscaping elements throughout the property.
The new owners wanted us to make some changes to the existing landscape.

When the new owners took possession of the property, they reached out to us because they wanted to make some changes to the existing landscape. After consulting with them, we came up with a plan to remove the landscape bed and fountain in the circle driveway and replace it with two areas of cobblestone paver inlay using Belgian Cobble Moonlight pavers. This change not only enhanced the visual appeal of the entrance but also created a more functional and welcoming entryway.
We updated the front entryway with a patio, seating wall, waterfall, and pond.

To further transform the front entryway into a picturesque oasis, we incorporated several key elements. First, we installed a paver patio using Holland in burnt amber, Urbana in aspen blend, and mega arbel pavers. These high-quality materials were chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal, ensuring the patio would withstand the test of time while complementing the overall design.
Additionally, we constructed a seating wall along the perimeter of the patio, providing comfortable seating options for residents and guests alike. To add a touch of tranquility and natural beauty, we integrated a mesmerizing waterfall using Colorado moss boulders, and a pond feature. The soothing sounds of cascading water and the vibrant presence of aquatic life bring a sense of serenity and harmony to the front entryway.
We added a variety of plants to enhance the front yard's landscape.

In order to infuse the front landscape with color, texture, and seasonal interest, we carefully selected a diverse range of plants. Among the notable additions are Prairie Gold Aspens, Japanese White Pines, Annabelle hydrangeas, blue shadow fothergilla, holly red sprite winterberry, golden mop false cypress, halcyon hostas, may night salvia, and millennium Allium. Each plant was strategically placed to maximize its unique characteristics and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the landscape.
We tore out the old patio and retaining wall in the backyard and replaced them.

Recognizing the need for an upgraded outdoor living area in the backyard, we embarked on a comprehensive renovation project. The first step involved removing the outdated patio and retaining wall to make way for a fresh and modern design. In their place, we installed a brand-new paver patio using Holland in burnt amber, Urbana in aspen blend, and mega arbel pavers. These premium materials ensured both functionality and style, creating a versatile space for relaxation and entertainment.
To enhance the ambiance and provide warmth during cooler evenings, we incorporated a fire pit crafted from Highland Stone. We also built a retaining wall using Highland Stone Freestand Wall block.
Adding a touch of elegance and tranquility, we introduced a bubbling boulder water feature to the backyard. The gentle sound of flowing water creates a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Finally, we revitalized the landscape by incorporating Buffalo Junipers and Hicks Yew. These evergreen shrubs provided year-round greenery and privacy, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the backyard while maintaining a low-maintenance environment.
